Most salons cut all hair wet, regardless of texture. For curly hair, that's a fundamental mistake. Wet curls fall straight under their own weight — so a shape that looks balanced wet might look uneven, off-center, or shrunken when the hair dries back into its curl pattern.
Curly cuts at Cynergy are done DRY. We work with your curls in their natural state, cutting curl-by-curl rather than section-by-section. The result is a cut that's balanced and beautiful in the way you actually wear your hair every day.

Cut the hair you actually have.
Wet hair stretches up to 50% longer than dry hair. For curly hair, that means a wet cut that's "perfectly even" can shrink unevenly as it dries — leaving one side shorter than the other, or a triangle silhouette where you wanted layers.
Dry cutting eliminates all of that. We see your curls in their final form. We balance them against each other. We cut what your hair actually IS, not what it pretends to be when stretched flat.
