Multi-tonal hand-tied extensions — Cynergy Color Bar Wake Forest NC
Home · Hair Extensions Wake Forest NC

Length, installed correctly.

Hand-tied wefts and tape-ins from a certified EasiHair Pro salon. We color-match before we install, place every row by hand, and teach you exactly how to maintain it at home — so you actually keep your real hair healthy underneath.

— What sets us apart

Certified, not casually trained.

Anyone can install extensions. Doing it without damaging the natural hair underneath is the part that takes certification.

Cynergy is an EasiHair Pro Certified Salon — meaning our extension artists have completed hands-on training in placement, tension, color-matching, and maintenance protocols. We don't cut corners on row spacing. We don't overcrowd a head. We don't color-match by holding a strand to a swatch in fluorescent light.

We also won't install extensions on hair that isn't healthy enough to wear them. The pre-install consultation is honest — sometimes we say "let's build your hair up first, then we'll talk extensions."

Extension methods.

Two installation methods, each suited to a different lifestyle. Your consultation determines which fits you.

— Extension specialists

EasiHair Pro certified.

Multiple stylists on the team hold active EasiHair Pro certifications — meaning they've completed the full curriculum in hand-tied weft installation, tape-in application, color-matching for extension hair, and the maintenance protocols that determine whether your hair grows out healthy underneath.

When you book extensions at Cynergy, you're booking with an artist who has installed hundreds — not someone who watched a YouTube tutorial last weekend.

"Extensions are 50% the install and 50% how you take care of them at home. We give you a written maintenance plan before you leave the chair."

Questions guests ask.

Hand-tied weft installs start at $400 for labor, with hair purchase separate (typically $400-1200 depending on length and color). Tape-ins start at $200 for labor, with hair $300-800. A consultation costs $85 and is applied to your install if you proceed.
EasiHair Pro is one of the most rigorous extension certifications in the industry — covering installation technique, tension management, color-matching, and maintenance. Certified salons have completed hands-on training and demonstrated proficiency. It matters because incorrect extension installation is the #1 cause of permanent damage to natural hair.
The install needs to be moved up every 6-8 weeks as your hair grows. The actual extension hair lasts 8-12 months with proper care — sometimes longer for high-quality hand-tied hair.
Neither is universally better — they fit different lifestyles. Hand-tied wefts handle thick natural hair and high-impact activities (workouts, swimming) better. Tape-ins are faster to install, easier to remove, and lower commitment for first-time extension guests. We'll recommend at consultation based on your hair type and lifestyle.
When installed correctly and maintained correctly, no. When installed by someone untrained, or worn past their move-up date, or maintained incorrectly — yes, they can damage hair. This is exactly why we're certified, why we require consultations, and why we send every client home with a written maintenance plan.
Often yes, but only with a careful install plan. Fine hair requires fewer rows, lighter hair, and stricter tension limits. We'll be honest at consultation if your hair is too fine for safe installation — sometimes we recommend hair growth treatments first and extensions later.
Yes — every install includes custom color-matching of the extension hair before it touches your head. We never use stock swatches. The result is extensions that blend invisibly with your existing color, including dimensional balayage.
You'll get a written maintenance plan covering brushing technique (special loop brush, brush from the bottom up), washing (sulfate-free, low-tension, no scrubbing at the root), heat styling (always with heat protectant), and sleep (loose braid). Every client also gets a one-on-one walkthrough before they leave the chair.

Length you actually want to wear.
