Long layers, built to grow out.
Movement, shape, and dimension while keeping your length — long layers mapped to your face shape and texture, and finished so the cut still looks intentional weeks later.
Cut for grow-out, not just the chair.
A bad cut looks fine in the chair. The salon blows it out, you love it, you walk out feeling great — and then on day four, when you’ve washed and dried it yourself, the shape doesn’t hold without their hands.
We cut differently. Every long-layer cut is planned to look intentional through the whole 6–10 week cycle, not just the day of. That means texturizing for grow-out, mapping the silhouette to your actual face shape and texture, and finishing in a way you can recreate at home.
Long layers are about adding movement and dimension without sacrificing length — a soft, versatile shape that works with your natural texture instead of against it. And we don’t rush: a cut here runs 45 to 75 minutes including the consultation, shampoo, and finish style.

How your cut actually works.
Every haircut follows the same three-step rhythm — consult, cut for grow-out, and finish you can recreate.
Consult & Map
The first ten minutes are about you — we talk through what you want, look at your hair, and map the silhouette to your real face shape and texture, not a photo.
Precision Cut
We place your long layers for movement and dimension while keeping length, texturizing so the shape holds through the whole grow-out cycle — never rushed.
Finish & Teach
We shampoo and finish with a blowout, then show you how to recreate the style at home — so day-four you loves it just as much as chair-day you.
Haircut questions.
Real answers from our stylists. If your question isn’t here, just ask when you book — we’d rather over-explain than under-deliver.
Long layer cuts start at $55 and go up based on length, density, and the stylist working with you. Senior and master stylists may price higher based on experience.
Every cut includes a thorough consultation, shampoo, and finish style — we don’t dry-cut and send you out the door without showing you how to wear it.
Most cuts take 45 to 75 minutes including the consultation, cut, and a finish blowout. A full restyle or a first appointment with a new stylist may run closer to 90 minutes.
If you’re adding color, we’ll book it as one continuous appointment so you only come in once.
No — placed correctly, long layers add movement and dimension while keeping your length and density.
The key is mapping the layers to your actual hair type and face shape rather than copying a photo. Done right, layers make fine hair look fuller and thick hair feel lighter.
Not a separate one — the consultation is built into your appointment. Your stylist spends the first 10 minutes talking through what you want, looking at your hair, and confirming the plan before any scissors come out.
For a major change, a separate consultation is welcome but not required.
Yes — and regular trims actually help you grow it out faster. Skipping haircuts while growing out is the number one reason people give up, because split ends travel up the shaft and the shape goes ragged.
Coming in every 10 to 12 weeks for a light dusting keeps your layers and length healthy while you build length.
Every 8 to 12 weeks keeps your layers shaped and your ends healthy. We cut for the whole grow-out cycle, so your style looks intentional on day three, eight weeks later, and right before your next appointment.
Yes — and we cut it the way curly hair should be cut: dry, curl by curl, so we can see how each piece actually falls. Curly hair behaves completely differently wet versus dry.
Mention you have curly or wavy hair when you book so we can match you with a stylist trained in curly technique.
Absolutely. If you’d like color with your cut, we’ll book it as one continuous appointment so you only have to come in once. Just mention it when you book so we reserve the right amount of time.
