Foil highlights, perfectly placed.
Classic, precision-placed highlights for maximum brightness, contrast, and dimension — foiled section by section for a timeless, high-impact result that holds its tone.
Foils aren’t old-school. They’re precision.
A foil highlight isolates each woven section of hair in foil, trapping heat so the lightener works cleanly and evenly. That control is exactly what gives traditional foils their signature: the brightest lift, crisp contrast, and dimension you can place precisely where you want it — face-framing, through the crown, or all over.
It’s the technique to ask for when you want defined, high-impact brightness rather than the soft, lived-in blend of balayage. And because every formula is logged, your colorist isn’t guessing at your next visit — they’re continuing the placement and tone that worked.
For new color guests, a consultation comes first. We look at your hair in person, talk through how bright you want to go, and design a placement and lift plan that keeps your hair healthy on the way there.
Foil highlight options.

How foil highlights actually work.
Every foil appointment follows the same three-step rhythm, from a partial refresh to a full head of brightness.
Consultation & Map
We assess your hair, talk through how bright you want to go, map your foil placement, and log a formula that’s repeatable on every future visit.
Foil & Lift
Sections are woven and wrapped in foil with lightener, then processed and monitored closely for clean, controlled, even lift edge to edge.
Tone & Finish
We rinse, apply a custom toner or gloss to perfect the tone, and style — then set you up with a home routine to keep your highlights bright.
Foil questions.
Real answers from our colorists. If your question isn’t here, ask at your consultation — we’d rather over-explain than under-deliver.
Traditional foils isolate each woven section in foil, which traps heat and gives you the brightest, most uniform lift with crisp contrast and dimension.
Balayage is freehand hand-painting for a softer, more blended, lower-maintenance grow-out. If you want bright, high-impact highlights with definition, foils are the classic choice.
A partial foil brightens the top, crown, and face-framing sections — perfect for refreshing brightness around the face or adding dimension without a full commitment.
A full foil works through the entire head for all-over brightness and the boldest, most even result. We’ll recommend the right one for your goal at your consultation.
Most guests refresh their foils every 6 to 10 weeks, depending on how much regrowth shows and how bright you like to stay. A gloss or toner between appointments keeps the tone clean and the shine high so your color looks fresh longer.
Three things move the price: hair length, hair density, and the artist working with you. A partial foil on shoulder-length fine hair uses far less product and time than a full foil on dense, mid-back hair.
You’ll always get a firm quote at your consultation before any color is mixed.
Any lightening service has impact, which is why we use bond-building additives in every foil service and adjust the formula to your hair’s condition.
Done properly, with the right aftercare, your hair stays healthy. We’ll recommend a simple home routine to protect both your highlights and your hair.
Foils lift beautifully, but how far we can safely go in one session depends on your starting level and hair history. A few levels brighter is often a single appointment.
A dramatic change from dark or previously colored hair may need more than one session to protect the integrity of your hair. We’ll map a realistic plan at your consultation.
A partial foil usually runs 2 to 3 hours, and a full foil 3 hours or more depending on length and density. Add 30 to 45 minutes if you’d like a finish blowout. We’ll confirm your full time block when you book.
Use a sulfate-free shampoo, a weekly bond-building treatment, and a heat protectant before hot tools. A purple shampoo every few washes keeps blonde foils from going brassy.
Your colorist will recommend specific products at checkout, and a gloss between visits keeps everything bright.
