Barber haircuts for men.

Clean fades, precise tapers, classic cuts, and modern textured styles. Executed by stylists who understand how men’s hair moves — and how it should look six weeks from now, not just today.

Sharp. Clean. Grows out right.

A great men’s haircut isn’t just about how it looks walking out the door. It’s about how it holds its shape at two weeks, four weeks, six weeks — and how it sets up the next visit. That’s the standard we work to.

At Cynergy Color Bar, men’s cuts are treated with the same precision and intention as any other service on the menu. We don’t rush the consultation, we don’t rush the cut, and we don’t hand you a mirror until the finish is right. Whether you want a clean taper for the boardroom or a textured crop for the weekend, we’ll build it to work for your hair type and face shape — not just the photo you show us.

First-time guests always start with a consultation. Tell us what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what you’re going for. We’ll take it from there.

Classic Cut & Style

$55+

Shampoo, precision cut, blow-dry, and product finish. Tapers, classic side parts, ivy leagues, textured crops. The standard for a reason.

High, mid, or low fades with clean skin or blended transitions. Drop fades, temple fades, taper fades — executed with the detail the style demands.

How your cut actually works.

Every visit follows the same standard. No guesswork, no shortcuts, no handing you the mirror before it's right.

Consultation

We ask what you like, what you don't, and how your hair actually behaves. Bring a photo or describe it — we'll figure it out either way.

Shampoo & Prep

Clean, conditioned, and prepped before the first snip. Hair that's washed and blow-dried cuts more accurately and holds its line better.

Cut & Detail

Shears, clippers, or razors — whichever the style calls for. We work through the cut methodically: length, weight, fade, neckline, finish.

Style & Finish

Dried, product-finished, and styled before you leave. We'll show you what we used and how to recreate it at home in under two minutes.

Questions men ask.

  • Traditionally, barbers focus on clipper work — fades, tapers, and short all-over cuts — while salons focus on scissor work and longer lengths. In practice, the best men's cuts require both. A clean fade needs clipper precision; a textured crop needs scissor technique. We do both.

The bigger difference is the finish. At Cynergy, every cut ends with a shampoo, blow-dry, and product styling — not just a dry cut and a dusting off. You leave looking and feeling like a completed service happened, not a quick trim.

  • Every 3–4 weeks for tight fades and skin fades — these lose their definition fastest. Every 4–6 weeks for tapers and classic cuts. Every 6–8 weeks for longer textured styles that have more forgiveness as they grow.

Your stylist will give you a specific recommendation at your first visit based on your cut and how your hair grows. Most men find that coming in consistently on a schedule is cheaper long-term than waiting too long and needing a full reset.

  • A photo helps, but it's not required. If you have a reference, bring it — it's the fastest way to align on what you're going for. If you don't, describe it: how short on the sides, what you want on top, whether you want a fade or a taper, how much product you're willing to use at home.

We'll ask the right questions to get there either way. The consultation takes a few minutes and prevents a cut you don't love.

  • A taper gradually reduces the length of hair from the top down toward the neckline — it's subtle and always present in a well-executed cut. A fade takes that transition further: the hair fades down to very short or skin level, with a clearly defined gradient.

Fades are bolder and higher-maintenance. Tapers are cleaner and more versatile across settings. Most men's cuts include a taper by default; a fade is a deliberate style choice on top of that.

  • Yes — and it requires more skill, not less. Thick hair needs internal weight removal to avoid the mushroom effect as it grows. Curly hair needs to be cut accounting for how each curl will spring back after drying — a length that looks right wet can be an inch shorter once dry.

We cut curly men's hair in its natural state when appropriate, so you can see exactly how it will behave before we finalize the shape. Tell us your texture at booking and we'll allocate the right amount of time.

  • A standard cut with shampoo and blow-dry runs 45–60 minutes. A first-time visit with consultation runs 60–75 minutes. Fade cuts with detail work run 60 minutes consistently — the blending takes time to do right.

We don't rush. If you're on a tight schedule, let us know when booking and we'll confirm whether the timing works for the service you want.

  • We work with Redken, Goldwell, and Surface lines. For men: a matte paste or clay for natural hold and texture; a pomade for shine and definition on slick styles; a light cream for fine or curly hair that needs control without weight.

Your stylist will show you exactly what was used on your hair before you leave — and how to apply it. Most men's styling routines take under 90 seconds once you know what you're doing.

  • We offer beard shaping and cleanup as an add-on to any men's haircut service. Ask about availability when booking — beard work is scheduled with the haircut, not as a separate appointment.

Straight razor neck cleanup is included with fade and taper cuts as a standard finish step.

Length you actually want to wear.
