Hand-tied, not glued.

The gold standard for long-term extensions. Custom hand-tied wefts sewn onto a beaded anchor row — secure enough for workouts, soft enough for everyday wear.

Tied by hand, installed with intent.

Hand-tied wefts are exactly what they sound like — strips of hair tied together by hand at the top, with no glue, no tape, no heat. They’re sewn directly onto a beaded anchor row that’s woven into your natural hair.

The advantages over tape-in or glue-in extensions: no chemicals against your scalp, no adhesive residue, and a flatter, more invisible install. The disadvantage: longer install time and higher initial investment.

For most clients with thick or coarse hair — and for anyone who works out, swims, or wants maximum security — hand-tied is the right choice. We’ll help you decide at consultation.

Hand-tied investment.

Two costs to budget for: the install (labor) and the hair (purchase). Final total quoted at consultation.

Install day.

Your first hand-tied appointment is the longest. Here's what happens in those 4-6 hours.

Color Match

We compare your hair to the extension hair under multiple light conditions. Custom-color the extensions if needed before installing.

Anchor Row

A row of small silicone-lined beads is installed across your scalp — the anchor for the wefts. Painless, secure, and invisible when finished.

Sew & Style

Each weft is hand-sewn to the anchor row with surgical thread. Final cut and style blends the wefts into your natural hair seamlessly.

Questions guests ask.

  • Total cost has two parts: the install labor and the hair itself. Hand-tied weft install labor starts at $400+, and the hair purchase ranges from $400-1200 depending on length, density, and color complexity.

Every new extension guest starts with an $85 consultation where we quote your full first-year cost in writing — install, hair, and move-ups every 6-8 weeks — so there are no surprises.

  • The hair itself, with proper care, lasts 9-12 months. Quality of hair, how you wash it, and heat tool use all affect lifespan.

Every 6-8 weeks the wefts need a move-up appointment to follow your new growth — the hair stays, the attachment is repositioned up to the new growth line.

  • Yes. Hand-tied wefts are sewn to a secure anchor row, so they stay put through workouts, swimming, and sleeping. They're built for normal life.

A few things help: tie your hair up for high-impact workouts, rinse out chlorine and salt water as soon as possible, and avoid sleeping with wet hair. Other than that, treat them like your own hair.

  • Properly installed hand-tied extensions by a certified stylist do not damage healthy hair. The weight is distributed across multiple beads in the anchor row, and there's no glue, heat, or harsh chemicals touching your hair.

Damage happens when extensions are installed too tight, too heavy for the hair density, or left in past the 6-8 week move-up window. We size every install for your specific hair and we'll tell you if extensions aren't the right call for your hair right now.

  • First-time installs run 4-6 hours from start to finish. That includes color-matching, beading the anchor row, hand-sewing each weft with surgical thread, and the final cut and style.

Move-up appointments every 6-8 weeks are shorter — usually 2-3 hours since we're repositioning existing wefts, not installing fresh ones.

  • EasiHair Pro is a professional extension certification program. Stylists complete advanced education in install technique, hair integrity, color-matching, and removal before they can offer the service.

It matters because extensions done wrong cause traction damage, slippage, and visible attachment. Certification means your stylist has been trained on placement, tension, and aftercare techniques that protect your natural hair.

  • Yes — fine hair is one of the most common reasons people come in for extensions. The key is using a lighter-weight weft and the right amount of hair for your density. Too much weight on fine hair causes tension damage; the right placement adds volume invisibly.

Your consultation will assess your density and the stylist will tell you exactly how many wefts your hair can safely carry. We don't oversize installs to push the price up.

  • Sulfate-free shampoo, brush twice a day with a loop brush starting at the ends, and never go to bed with wet hair. Sleep with your hair tied in a loose braid or low ponytail. Heat tools are fine — just use a heat protectant and keep the iron away from the beads.

You'll leave your install with a full home-care plan and product recommendations. Get it right and your hair will last 9-12 months looking like the day it went in.

Length you actually want to wear.
